Audition/INTERVIEW information FOR SUMMER 2020
The Bacchae 2.1 by Charles Mee
LOGISTICS:
- Auditions/interviews on March 7th from 12:00 – 4:00. If this time does not work, please email [email protected]. Each person will have a 10 minute time slot to audition/interview.
- They will be located at Bering Memorial UMC, located at 1440 Harold St, room #236. Entrance/parking in the back on Hawthorne St.
- Callbacks will take place March 8th. Times will vary depending on the amount of people called back, but expect around 1:00 – 5:00.
- Go to the ‘Get Involved’ tab to sign up for an audition/interview (feel free to both audition and interview).
- If interested in design, please reach out to get preliminary ideas on the world of the play. Do not feel bound by descriptions in the script; it is editable. Bring your best ideas with awareness of budgetary restrictions.
- Please prepare one monologue from The Bacchae 2.1. In addition, you may bring in a 1-4 minute piece of your own creation that would fit the world of the play. This is optional, but recommended. There are no rules for this piece; however, please bring your own materials and clean up after yourself. Callbacks will consist of readings and a movement call. You may be asked to sing if able.

- Although the performance dates are not solidified, expect rehearsal to be from 9:00 – 5:00, Monday through Friday for the month of July, with performances around August 14th/15th.
